Home Page Design and Presence

We'll design a home page for you and host your home page (storage) on NVWW. You provide anything you already have (text, graphics, ideas), either printed materials or on PC compatible disk. We'll design your page, convert it all to HTML, scan photos or art that you want to include, and add links or email as you may need.

Your home page will be hosted on the Northern Virginia Worldwide Website domain with a northernva URL such as www.northernva.com/yourname with a link on the appropriate category page that highlights your home page for exposure. We'll register you with search engines plus we'll put you on the NVWW main home page to announce you as a new home page and provide a link there in addition to your link on the category page.

Design fee: $100 text and graphics (Custom design work at $50/hour, estimates provided)
Publishing fee (Transfer of files to Web): $20
Storage on NVWW domain (up to 3,000 kbs): $30 month (Value deal: $250/year)

What is the Zend Optimizer?

The Zend Optimizer is one of the most popular PHP plugins for performance-improvement, and has been available without charge, since the early days of PHP 4. It improves performance by scanning PHP's intermediate code and passing it through multiple Optimization Passes to replace inefficient code patterns with more efficient code blocks. The replaced code blocks perform exactly the same operations as the original code, only faster.

In addition to improving performance, the Zend Optimizer also enables PHP to transparently load files encoded by the Zend Guard.

The Zend Optimizer is a free product available for download from Zend Technologies. Zend Technologies also developed the PHP scripting engine, known as the Zend Engine.
